Honda Delivers First Fit EV in California

Ventura County, CA residents, Matt and Becky Walton are definitely Honda fanatics. The couple has owned a total of four Honda vehicles in the past, including models like Honda N600 sedan and a Honda Z600 coupe starting in the 1970's. Most recently, the couple drove a Honda Odyssey minivan, but found that they wanted something a little more efficient.

And that's exactly what they got. The latest addition to their personal Honda lineup is none other than the Japanese automaker's first all-electric vehicle: the 2013 Honda Fit EV.

Crossover Based Around Honda Fit

With the crossover market exploding, it seems as though every automaker wants to adapt at least one of its existing models into an all-new, slightly-larger offering. And that's precisely what Honda may be planning to do with the platform for the next-generation Fit shortly after its release in 2014.

There is, though, good news on the Honda front. The Big H has reported that inventories of both the Honda Fit and the Honda Civic are "good" and that no shortages of the Honda Civic are expected.

"Of the two [Fit and Civic], only Fit is import-only for the U.S.," wrote Edward K. Miller, Senior Manager News and Industry Relations, Honda North America…

Honda Fit: Highest Ranked Subcompact Car in 2010 APEAL Study

Every year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys people who have bought a new-model vehicle, following 90-days after the purchase. Officially called the Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study, the survey assesses customers' satisfaction with about 100 vehicle features (i.e., riding and handling and comfort and convenience). In the end, the APEAL study reveals, which features people find most appealing about their new vehicles. It is a great honor for automakers to earn a place in the study. And, in 2010, the Honda Fit nailed the winner of the Subcompact Car category.

The cool, fuel-efficient Fit (known elsewhere…

Honda Insight - Even More Efficient

Did you think that the Honda Insight could not get anymore green? You guessed wrong - the updated Insight for 2012 is going to be even more fuel efficient than before.
