Custodian

Location:         Glendale, CA

Job Title:         Custodian

Reports To:     Service and Parts Director

Rate of Pay:    DOE

 

Job Description:

Keep dealership facility in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, light maintenance work, light landscaping, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris from sidewalk.

 

 

 JOB DUTIES:

- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

- Gather and empty trash.

- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems.

- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies

- Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds.

- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

- Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have a valid California driver's license with clean driving record

-Must be able to lift 50lbs

-Must be able to follow direction, with attention to detail while under minimal supervision

-Ability to stand six to eight hours per shift         

- Exposure to inclement weather

Sales Porter

Job Title:         Sales Porter
Reports To:     General Sales Manager
Rate of Pay:    DOE

 

 

Job Summary:

The Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the sale and upkeep of vehicles and the dealership property.

 

JOB DUTIES:

-          Assist with customer deliveries

-          Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom

-          Ensure all window stickers are properly placed on newly arrived vehicles for display on the sales floor or lot

-          Pick up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships

-          Building and grounds maintenance as needed

 

REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have a valid California driver's license with clean driving

    record

-Must be able to lift 50lbs

-Must be able to follow direction, with attention to detail while under

    minimal supervision

- Ability to drive manual transmission

- Ability to stand six to eight hours per shift        

- Exposure to inclement weather
